Live Knee Replacement Surgery Broadcasted To International Audience
The procedure was live-streamed from an operating room in Fishers, IN to an audience of a more than 200 orthopaedic surgeons from around the world who gathered in Vail, Colorado for a conference hosted by the International Congress for Joint Reconstruction. The operation, which was the first live surgery to take place at IU Health Saxony Hospital, began at 11:20 a.m. and lasted approximately 90 minutes.
